Doc Nik. I am just a retired civil servant. A pensioner. No stature at all.

dato,

when more people of your stature, very senior  retired , high profile retired govt servants and successful business men, make more animal noise, this would give more credibility to the volume of noise from the 'raayat'.

ntr will feel he need to go faster. please do not under rate the volume of animal noise in the web and your guys' influence.

ntr is a lalang all his life. and a lalang he will always be.
he does listen , and to him volume matters

if you examine his past record carefully, there has been nothing substantive that he did, even in this premiership of his. just swaying with the wind, that is his forte in life.

he is waiting for the right cue. for instance, the rapt from the istanas yesterday, is an avalanche. anyone who has integrity would take that to heart and reexamine his own soul and resign.

likewise,we should not under rate the influence of retired senior government servants  and people in your position as well. we just need more volume.

as it is now there is a deafening silence from this group and those of the g25. deafening silence. it is embarassing.
g25 has been too bising on matters of islam but so very quiet like a kitten on the  gross vulgarities  and excesses related to the  executive
how long we can stand these nonsensical callous behavior from numero uno, i wonder
it is suffocating, to say the least.
substantially it is bleeding the nation's foreign reserve on a daily basis, to say the least. ask zeti akhtar if you dont believe me. the game they play to support the weak ringgit!
how many more billion rm of our reserve left??
......but for you guys, currently, at least it seemed to me ,it is like  'cari makan as usual'

Doc
The G25 was formed, and is only concerned with, the vital issue of constitutional jurisdiction. It was not meant to comment on other political or financial issues, no matter how serious and important they may be.
That is how l understand their raison de'tre

dato,

very sad, if that is indeed their only reason for existence!

i guess they have  selective myopia to start with and a very narrow outlook to politics.
lord reid has been dead for almost more than half a century and who are these g25 anyway, 'muslim kah depa' or are there melayu with too much cheese for their own good!?
typical senior govt servitude to not come into confrontation with those who govern and determine the quantum of one's pension

just yesterday, a senior retired judge , somehow related to me via marriage , also 3 years my senior at mckk, proudly parade in the malay mail , was so proud that he has been invited to join the g25. I am not going to be personal but if you ask me, i would not join g25 even if people promise me 20 million rm!!! not even 50 million rm or 100. come think about it, not even seven mountains of gold!

you can ask me why? i will answer you.

if i am a retired judge ,or a retired ambassador just back from my champange filled days in europe or america, or a retired dg of some important ministries, and
even if i am   relatively ignorant of the meaning and ramifications of HIS divine letters, i would just keep my mouth shut  and stay in the sideline. it is better that way.

being in g25 is akin to drawing a definitive line in the sand......saying NO to Allah's  divine advisories is no small matter. i would rather keep it in my chest, so that in yaumiddin, i would not be held accountable. let the top amenu politicians do it. leave it to them. they are, at least from their recent behaviour, quite Godless. at least there is no inkling of an iota of  fear of god in their most recent behaviour. even the godless japanese would have done a harakiri of sort by now, given the gravity of their missdeeds.

i do not mind drawing sword with ntr. the worst case scenario is that i would get to see dr m  and his lawyer brian chung as my neighbours.
but if you draw lines in the sand against  Allah, you are trading your posterity. and that is for eternity

if ex ambassadors, and ex judges  and ex dg's know their quran a wee bit more, they will be more careful. that is my 'not so humble opinion', if you may.

I think you refer to the retired Appeals Court judge .
I do not know him personally but, from his work on the Bench, think he is an honourable man. I studied Law at Middle Temple, and l think he is a judge who understands Jurisprudence well. Our Constitution is Secular in content, meaning there is a SEPARATION between individual belief and the State powers.
As a judge he took an oath to uphold the law in context of the Constitution, just like you took the Hyppocratic oath when you started to practice Medicine. In our system, The Agong, Sultans, Parliament, the Cabinet, and the Judiciary, are all PART of the Constitution, never above it. Justice Hishamuddin was true to his oath. That was why he joined the G 25 when he retired.
I think he has no sympathy with theocracy, having seen and deeply understands the modern examples of blood-lust ISIS and KSA, and many others in the OIC. Our Constitution protects us from such dangers.
Hence my view diverges from yours.

dato,

personalities aside, g25 is a great letdown. does not matter it is not within the ambit of their term of reference, as you say earlier.
nothing personal.
as a group they are very quiet , almost total deafening silence on the issue of ntr's gross intransigence, morally and legally.
on islam they make too much noise against it

my pakmat nyadap of pasir puteh , the proverbial uncouth , uneducated chap from kelantan, would exclaim:
guano demo ning. pasa islae gege machae nok pecoh bumi.
pasa najib , tok bunying lasong. senyap macae orghe bisu.

if pak mat is from kuala ketil he would ask:
'depa ni, sekolah kat pondok mana?'

again i would reiterate i would not join g25, even if you promise me the world
i do not want to exchange my posterity even if you can give me seven mountains of gold!

allah put it more succintly, in al baqarah i think, i have forgotten the exact ayat:
" ...these clowns sell my ayats for a few ringgit....", and i do not have to add what HE promised these people.

and talking about the ringgit ringgit lately, it has gone up to 4.10 sen to the dollar.
malaysians can sigh some relief.
but my friends in bank negara, they are having heartburn seeing our reserve diminishing by the days to support even 4.10

when is najib going to end his madness and call it a day ?
not that it is going to solve our problem rightaway because we have very very senior people in the present cabinet who have been known to accept outright bribes of even 500k  rm cash in school bag in his office several years back!!!!
i know this for a fact.
i know who gave it and to whom, but as a gentleman i will keep it a secret.

this is the level of governance that we have collectively sunk to.

not only we do not have the institutions.
we do not even have the people.
so, dato, are we at all surprised to hear from the ag's office today that oneamgedebe does need to answer anything!!!!!!!!
the  chap who broke the not so unexpected news was, i recall in his younger days, just  a bag carrier during the  celebrated mona fandi trial.
'cari makan punya pasal' , he remains a bag carrier.
but he deserve an instant tansriship by our present malaysian standard.

and all these clowns in the present cabinet can say is that the royal council is not quite serious in their deliberation..
oh common, hishamuddin tun hussien, dont be stupid...
we all know what the sultans are alluding to.

ntr , PLEASE RESIGN Sir!
so that justice can be done or seen to be done.
if you have to go to prison, go to prison please.
at least by your example , malaysia can move on to greater height.
that would be your greatest contribution.

dr nik howk
