This is the video game, in my type of work, that keeps me still going........the adrenaline rush, the excitement and the satisfaction of opening up arteries in my patients, and subsequently following them up for life, and putting them back into active lives that they are used to, before their ailment.

Exercise : Mixing The Profane & The Sublime...

 .........my current favourite is swimming at lunch time at my local club, just across the Federal Highway, opposite of my hospital.

" Allaaaaah ",when my head is above water, " Huuuuuu ",when exhaling under water, doing the breast stroke.

" Allaaaaah, Allaaaah, Allaaah, Allaaaah... ", running in neck deep water.

One can go for hours doing this.

Mixing the Profane &  the Sublime........try it for size.

You may get addicted to it.

...the opening gambit of Surah al- Maoun , is very familiar to myself. I have been there some 62 years ago! Being orphaned at age 9.is no small matter.

For 1 full year I kept slapping and scratching myself in the face form time to time, hoping against hope, that one fine day, I just woke up and realized that , the walking sadness and grievous loss, was just a dream..........Such was the vagaries and loneliness of being an orphan in old Kota Bharu in the early sixties.......
