...Islam will prevail....

"In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth,
Createth man from a clot.
Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous,
Who teacheth by the pen,
Teacheth man that which he knew not.
Nay, but verily man is rebellious
That he thinketh himself independent!
Lo! unto thy Lord is the return.
Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth
A slave when he prayeth?
Hast thou seen if he relieth on the guidance of Allah
Or enjoineth piety?
Hast thou seen if he denieth Allah's guidance and is froward?
Is he then unaware that Allah seeth?
Nay, but if he cease not We will seize him by the forelock -The lying, sinful forelock -Then let him call upon his henchmen!
We will call the guards of hell.
Nay, Obey not thou him. But prostrate thyself, and draw near unto Allah."
Chapter 96, The Noble Quran

Detractors of Islam [ Jews, Trinitarians and present day orientalists, materialists and agnostics ] try to denigrate Islam and throw it into the dustbin of history by saying that Prophet Muhammad 'conceptualised' The Noble Quran ...Just his very imaginative thoughts and also the influence of his experience with The Torah while amongst the Jews of Yathrib [ Medinah ].

In all sincerity just examine carefully the sublime beauty and cadence of this so smooth flowing short surah in The Noble Qur'an, a Mekkan revelation, the 1st revelation to him from his Lord in fact, in the cave of Hira',near Mekkah, long before Prophet Muhammad's move to Yathrib.

Whatever they may say, 1.5 billion Muslims, and still growing, can find solace in surah Al Kafirun, chapter 109 of The Noble Qur'an, a surah which enjoins Muslims, past and present, to live and let live, peacefully with the rest of the world, irrespective of their colour, beliefs and affiliations:

"In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Say: O disbelievers!
I worship not that which ye worship;
Nor worship ye that which I worship.
And I shall not worship that which ye worship.
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion."

The final word on Truth is that it cannot be won by 'overwhelming force', 'desert storm', 'war on terror' or any imaginative labelling that the West may choose to conjure.

They can even 'nuke' us when and where they think fit, but at the end of the day, in all sincerity, it will be a battle of minds and souls. And when it boils down to that, they will never win....Islam is an idea that is long overdue.

Islam will prevail. The West, if they are to survive, have to go back to their drawing board and reconfigure how they are going to live with us peacefully. They have to re-evaluate and give proper weightage to their present socalled 'friends' and 'foes'.Reassess decades of open and unended belligerence and condescending attitude and behaviour towards Islam and Muslims which has only been successful in radicalising more Muslims against them.

The key words are : Justice and Fairness.
Go figure it our Mr Obama!
The ball is at your feet....Go figure it out because your present equation is very counter productive to world peace!

Insyaallah!

Af,let us leave Obama [ and by your admission, anak pak Jab as well] to figure this out.

Let us go on a higher plane instead. I was just reading Syed Qutb's tafseer of Surah 96 and 109 just now...I must say his treatment and understanding of these two surah is [ he is still very much alive!....thru his writings..] subliminal and excellent. When you are studying the surah in Muqaddam forget about the rest, just read Sayyid Qutb's...see LINK on my website.

...A summary of Syed Qutb's tafseer of Chapter 109 was:

" This is a sine qua non for the contemporary advocates of Islam. They badly
need to realize that they are calling for Islam today in entirely Ignorant
surroundings amongst ex-Muslim peoples whose hearts have grown harder and
whose beliefs have now deteriorated considerably. They need to understand
that there is no room for short-term or half solutions, compromises, or
partial redemption or adjustment, and that their call is for uniquely
distinguished Islam, in contrast to what these people conceive of as
Islam. They must face these people bravely and explicitly put it to
them: "You have your own religion, and I have mine." Our religion is based
on absolute monotheism whose concepts, values, beliefs and laws cover all
aspects of human life and are all received from Allah and none else. With
out this basic separation confusion, double-dealing, doubt and distortion
will certainly persist. And let it be clear in our minds here that the
movement advocating Islam can never be constructed on any ambiguous or
feeble foundations, but has to be built upon firmness, explicitness,
frankness and fortitude as embodied in Allah's instruction to us to
declare: "You have your own religion, and I have mine". Such was the way
adopted by the Islamic call in its early days."

.....By Syed Qutb's standard, no apology, no Islam Hadhari, No 'right' or 'left' Islam, 'Liberal' or 'Non Liberal' Islam. Just simple Islam..... the ways of Muhammad.Read and restudy the Qur'an, Read the hadith...and think and formulate and practice....Islam does not tolerate mediocrity..It is about excellence, excellence in behaviour ,attitude and intent. It is not just for the Arabs. It is universal...for the brown, yellow, black and whites.

Probably too hard for many people to swallow, because the world now has been used to hear too many 'labels' applied too loosely by Islam's detractors, aim to confuse and divide. The Muslim world it self is not innocent. We are too'bloody' gullible for our very own good. Pardon my language!
